After a FANTASTIC wedding weekend in Germany (where I made the conscious decision to put the camera down and be present without also trying to capture all the wonderful moments), we were in transport mode this Monday. However, on Saturday I did bring my camera along when we visited Linderhof Palace, about two hours outside of Munich. The villa and gardens were built in the late 19th century by King Ludwig II and were inspired by Versailles and the splendor of the Bourbon court in general. Grace loved the guided tour of the palace, especially learning that King Ludwig’s eccentricities included sleeping all day and staying up reading through the night. And Grace and Max both enjoyed running through the gardens with the bride and groom.
